Employee Training Offerings
The Employee Training Department is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge, skills, and essential competencies of all employees through professional development and training. All CNM employees are required to complete mandatory trainings demonstrating ethical employment practice. These mandatory training requirements are essential for organizational efficiency and the safety, well-being, and effectiveness of all employees.
Professional development activities are aligned with CNM’s Strategic Directions and focus on employee advancement, organizational efficiency, productivity and demonstrated excellence.

Your CNM Resource for Continuing Professional Development
Workforce Training Center (WTC) offers Customized Training for your department or school, room rentals for your events and a wealth of courses that you can enroll in to further your own professional development. Employees can also attend WTC’s renowned Supervisor Academy free-of-charge with supervisor approval.
Your department may be able to cover tuition fees for WTC courses that align with your work role through the Employee Training Approval Form (ETAF). Additionally some courses are noted as CNME and are free for employees as long as general public registration minimums are met. Spaces are limited for CNME offerings and generally include courses in the Computer and First Aid/CPR categories.
All CNM employees are eligible for a 10% discount. The discount does not apply to Ed2Go and Gatlin Online courses and industry exams.

The Cooperative for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is an organization of CNM faculty that fosters internal partnerships across the college to support faculty needs through orientation and professional development. It also supports and enhances faculty collegiality across schools and departments.
