CNM Governing Board
The schedule for the monthly Governing Board meetings for 2009 follows: January 13 at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); February 17* at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); March 10 at Montoya Campus; April 14 at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); May 12 at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); June 9 at the Westside Campus; July 14 at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); August 11 at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); September 15* at South Valley Campus; October 13 at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); November 10 at Main Campus (Smith Brasher Hall auditorium); December 8 at Workforce Training Center . All meetings will begin at 5 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
* February 17 and September 15 are the third Tuesday of the month.
The Governing Board is an elected group of individuals, constituting a lawful political subdivision, who represent the population of the Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) District.
The Board is responsible for policies that govern all phases of the educational program within the College.
Policy statements are regularly adopted and promulgated by the Board with the intention of addressing the mission, vision, values, and goal of the College. The policies are intended for the use of College employees, students and other citizens to provide a general operating climate for guiding decisions related to the attainment of desired educational objectives.
The Board typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 5 p.m. Meetings are open to the public.
