Regular Part-time Instructors for Instructional Pool in Air Condition, Heating and Refrigeration “Applicants with various levels of expertise are encouraged to apply!” (Number of openings and assignments dependent upon student enrollment).
Paid by the course according to the educational level of the instructor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Construction, teach theory and lab classes in Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration to CNM students. Follow course documents, communicate with students, supervisor, faculty and staff, maintain objective grading system, meet instructor expectations, maintain class meeting schedules, attend program meetings, and maintain flexible schedule allowing for evening and weekend classes. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Five (5) years HVAC/R residential or commercial or industrial experience. Demonstrated experience working with EPA regulations, mechanical code HVAC/R, and the Uniform Mechanical code required. EPA Universal certification required. PREFERENCES: NATE certification (North American Technician Excellence) preferred. Preference will be given to applicants who possess a journeyman’s level of knowledge and a high level of proficiency in their trade. WORK SCHEDULE: As assigned based on instructional needs.
