J. Harold Washington, a retired CNM administrator and current instructor in CNM’s Emeritus Academy, was honored by Albuquerque’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Multicultural Council on Monday with the “Keeping the Dream Alive” award, which honors “unsung volunteers” in the community. Washington, who held a variety of posts at CNM, is a regular volunteer at the University of New Mexico Hospital.
