CCHS Sophomore Named Student of the Week by APS Education Foundation

May 14, 2014 -- Vernon Rockett, a sophomore at the College & Career High School located on CNM’s Main Campus, has been named Student of the Week by the Albuquerque Public Schools Education Foundation and the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union.

 

Vernon has big plans for his future, which includes attending Harvard Medical School and becoming a surgeon. Read more about him at the APS website.

CCHS, which is operated in partnership between CNM and APS, provides high school students the opportunity to take dual credit CNM classes that count for both high school and college credit. The college credits can be transferred to universities. Tuition and text books are free for the CCHS students.

CCHS, which is open to APS sophomores, juniors and seniors, is currently accepting applications for the 2014-15 academic year. Go to the CCHS website to learn more.
