In just 12 weeks (40 hours per week), students can learn the coding skills for Java, Android and Salesforce platforms, all of which are high-demand coding skills. Graduates will leave after 12 weeks with highly marketable skills that attract high-paying jobs. Java, Android and Salesforce coders earn average salaries of $86,000, $79,000 and $88,000 per year, respectively.

The first Deep Dive Java + Android + Salesforce Bootcamp will take place at the CNM STEMulus Center in downtown Albuquerque from June 12-Sept. 1 (8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Fridays). Registration is open now.

“This is a great opportunity for those interested in a coding career to gain skills that are highly coveted by employers in Albuquerque and around the country,” said John Mierzwa, director of STEMulus Initiatives at CNM. “In 12 weeks, we’ll teach students the skills they need to get high-paying jobs in this fast-growing field.”

Java has ranked at or near the top of industry-wide rankings of programming languages, in terms of usage, popularity and employer demand. Android has overtaken iOS as the world’s most popular operating system, with millions of devices in use worldwide. And Salesforce is one of the most popular, cloud-based Customer Relationship Management systems in the world.

Students will become proficient with the tools and techniques for programming, debugging, testing, collaboration and version control as they build their skills in Agile Software Development, test-driven development and other practices used by today’s top software shops. Regular guest speakers will include successful developers, entrepreneurs and other leaders in the tech community.
