Financial Aid Workshops Held at Main Campus Thursday

Feb. 20, 2013 -- As part of national Financial Aid Awareness Week, CNM’s Financial Aid and Scholarship Services department will be hosting two events on Feb. 21 to help future and current students better understand the financial aid process.

 

The presentations/workshops – titled “Are You Headed in the Right Direction?” – will be held on Main Campus – one in the morning and one in the evening. The morning event is tailored more for current CNM students. The evening event is geared more for students and parents, so they can get a head start on completing their financial aid applications for the 2013-2014 award year. Here’s the schedule:

Financial Aid Presentation for CNM Students
Feb. 21 from 1-2 p.m. in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 100

Financial Aid Presentation for Future Students (Parents welcome)
Feb. 21 from 6-8 p.m. in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 100

Documents to bring to the workshops:

2012 Federal Income Taxes (IRS 1040,1040A,1040EZ) and W2’s

2012 Untaxed Income Records (child support, worker’s compensations, etc.)

Current bank statement, business and investment information

Refer to the FAFSA worksheet at FAFSA.ed.gov to determine if parent information and 2012

Federal Income Taxes are needed.
