Parking Permit Information



Main Campus Parking Permits for Spring 2010


Listed below is the schedule for the advanced sale of Springl 2010 paid parking permits. Please check the lot of interest and mark down on your calendar the dates your group is eligible to purchase a permit. Sales dates apply to all options. The permit cost is $43 per term.  Taxes are included in permit cost. You must have your vehicle information (year, make, model and license plate number) with you when you purchase your permit.

In-Person Permit Sales

The sale of permits will be handled by the Cashier’s Office in the Student Service Center from 8 a.m. -6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday. The Cashier’s Office will distribute permits once the parking application is completed, information verified and fees are paid. 

Payroll Deduction

Payroll deduction is now available to all full-time employees.  Employees wishing to enroll will do so at the Security/Parking Offices in the Physical Plant building. Office hours are from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Permits will be distributed once the parking application is completed, information verified and deduction approved.

Note: #1: All personnel wishing to validate their disabled status and receive a CNM disabled parking permit for the Spring term may do so at Parking Services in the Security office of the PPD building and the Special Services Offices at Main & Montoya campuses. The disabled permits are issued from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday though Friday.  Disabled parking permits are issued at no cost and only require validation of New Mexico state handicap status at Parking Services. You must bring your state documentation (placard holder identification card), disabled placard (vehicle registration for disabled plates) and driver’s license or state id when you come to Parking Services.

Note #2: Due to gate manufacturer requirements, motorcycles will not be allowed in gated lots.

Additional motorcycle parking has been provided throughout campus.
