The Developmental Education (DE) program offers courses to help you prepare for college in College Success Experience (CSE), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Integrated Reading and Writing (IRW), and Math. Courses are numbered 0100 – 0999.

Integrated Reading and Writing (IRW) 0970 is a combination of the previous ENG 0550, ENG 0750, and RDG 0750 courses.  IRW 0980 is a combination of the previous RDG 0950 and ENG 0950 courses.  Rather than take 6 credits of Reading and English, the courses have been combined and streamlined into a one 3-credit integrated course offered at two levels.
