Girl Scouts Visit Applied Technologies to Learn About Electricity
September 29, 2016 -- The usual busy sounds of the Electrical Trades labs were recently replaced with children’s laughter and cheering. Nineteen girls aged 7-13 visited the School of Applied Technologies to learn about electricity and the work of electricians, and they had a good time all the while.

Physics League Team Wins 2015 STEM Knowledge Bowl

Crianza Early Childhood Business Accelerator Participants Graduate July 16
July 6, 2016 -- The 16 participants in the first cohort of Crianza: An Early Childhood Business Accelerator, will be recognized during a graduation ceremony on July 16, from noon to 1 p.m., in the South Valley Campus, Building II, Room 103. Crianza is part of CNM’s STEMulus Center.

Asako Stone: 2015-16 Distinguished Faculty Member Award Winner

Food, Fun Highlight ‘Day of Fun in the Sun’ Family Open House
August 17, 2016 -- About 400 people attended CNM’s first Family Open House, “A Day of Fun in the Sun,” on Aug. 4. It was held from 2-6:30 p.m. in the Student Resource Center Breezeway and lawn on the Main Campus.

Comprehensive New Software System for Degree Audits, Student Planning, Course Scheduling and Enhanced Advising Coming for Fall Term
April 13, 2016 -- CNM is in the process of implementing a comprehensive new software system that will help students stay on track to graduate through a variety of valuable features. The software, called “Degree Works,” is scheduled to go live for the Fall Term with demonstrations and trainings coming this summer.
