Student Services and Online Learning

CNM is here to ensure your education will continue during COVID-19. Live support, resources and departmental contact information is provided.

Read about CNM's minimum technology recommendations to complete coursework for Summer 2021.

If you're experiencing financial hardship the State of New Mexico can help.

On May 3, in an effort to ease into on-campus operations safely, CNM will begin our Return to Campus initiative with a 25% capacity limit for students, staff, and faculty. As conditions continue to improve, we hope to increase capacity to 50% later in the summer.

Please note:

  • During the Summer 2021 term, most classes will continue to be offered online, but about 25% will take place on CNM campuses. This will allow CNM to help you progress in programs that require in-person instruction, leading to careers that are essential for our community.
  • You may make in-person appointments for access to libraries, computer labs, and tutoring at Main and Westside campuses.
  • Read about Summer 2021's Modes of Instruction when registering for classes. This will help you understand the various in-person and remote instructional methods CNM offers when selecting classes.
  • Please adhere to our COVID-19 Campus Safety Protocols when on campus.
  • Before coming to campus each day a Daily Health Self-Assessment is mandatory.
  • You're required to have a CNM General Parking Permit to park in any of CNM’s lots at all campuses through December 2021. If you already have a valid lot-specific permit, it can be used for any CNM lot during this time. General Permits cost $7.50 per term or $17.50 annually. Visit Parking Services for more information.
