New Student Orientation

Online New Student Orientation for Spring 2018

As an incoming International Student at Central New Mexico Community College, you must complete the online Pre-Arrival New Student Orientation before you can register for classes.

You can access the orientation module at http://www.onlineorientation.net/cnmcc/979

Enter the following information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • 9-digit CNM Student ID number (this number begins with 010XXXXXX)
  • Your date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
  • Your student type on the log-in screen 

Then click Enter.

*Do NOT click Enter as Guest as your completion will NOT be recorded.

Make sure you complete the entire module and quiz questions as soon as possible so you can register for classes. 

In-Person New Student Orientation for Fall 2018

All new international students are ALSO required to attend in-person New Student Orientation on campus Thursday, August 23rd - Friday, August 24th. Therefore, please plan to arrive in Albuquerque no later than Wednesday, August 22nd. 

Plan to be on campus from 8am to 4:30pm on Thursday and 9am to 1pm on Friday. Both sessions will be held on Main Campus in the Smith Brasher (SB) building in room 101. You will be able to park anywhere on campus without a pass on both orientation days. 

What to bring to in-person orientation:

  • Vehicle make, model, year, and license plate number (if you plan to park at CNM)
  • Your passport
  • Your I-20 WITH your signature
  • Your most recent I-94
  • Your local address, phone number, and email, if this changed since you applied to CNM
  • Emergency contact information (we will have a form for you to fill out)
  • Your class schedule
