Recent Policy and Procedure Changes

CNM Policies and Procedures Office is conducting an ongoing review of the Central New Mexico Community Colleges Policies and Procedures and will continue to do so.

Revised IS-2076 in The Source and Employee Handbook Sections 5.01, 5.02, and 5.05

On January 9, 2017, CNM’s Governing Board approved a revision to Section 5 of the Employee Handbook. A revision to The Source (IS-2076 – Pay Grades and Calculations) related to this policy change was also approved by the Executive Team. The revisions include:

  • Calculations for determining pay have been streamlined and moved from the Employee Handbook to The Source (IS-2076) procedures manual.
  • In cases of voluntary or involuntary demotion, employees are no longer permitted to keep pay for one year.
  • Updated definitions
