Collective Bargaining Agreement for Instructional Support

32.1

Paid holidays for regular full time bargaining unit employees, will be determined by the College and designated as part of CNM’s academic calendar. Regular full-time bargaining unit employees shall be granted the eleven (11) paid holidays below and the remaining holidays shall be designated by the College and approved by the Governing Board as part of the winter break. The following holidays, plus the winter break established by the College, shall be observed.

32.1.1 Martin Luther King Day
32.1.2 Memorial Day
32.1.3 Juneteenth
32.1.4 Independence Day
32.1.5 Labor Day
32.1.6 Thanksgiving Day
32.1.7 The Day After Thanksgiving
32.1.8 The Day Preceding Christmas Day
32.1.9 Christmas Day
32.1.10 The Day Preceding New Year’s Day
32.1.11 New Year’s Day

32.2

Part-time ISU employees whose normally scheduled hours fall on a holiday or on a weekend when the College is closed, may with supervisor approval, flex those hours within the same pay period so long as the hours worked in any one week do not exceed forty.
