33.1

This Agreement shall become effective upon the signature of the parties, subject to approval by the CNM Governing Board and shall remain in full force and effect until June 30, 2025.

33.2

During the term of this agreement, wage adjustments approved by the Board for the Maintenance and Operations bargaining unit members will be provided in accordance with the Governing Board resolution. No later than April 1 of each anniversary year, each party may reopen Article 20, Wages and Allowances, and one other item for renegotiation.

If the CNM Governing Board determines that a wage decrease is necessary, CNM will notify the union promptly. Within a 10-day period from such notification, the parties shall meet no more than three times to discuss ideas for possible alternatives to pay decreases or how best to implement such a decrease. Either party may ask FMCS to attend meetings, but if FMCS is not available, the parties will still meet.

At the completion of the 10-day period, CNM may implement the decrease at its discretion.

If the parties do not open negotiations during the intervening years of the contract as delineated in sub-article 33.2 increases approved by the board will be provided in accordance with the Governing Board resolution.

33.3

This Agreement may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties.
