Article 29: Job Classifications

Collective Bargaining Agreement for Security Employees

29.1

The parties agree that classification descriptions are intended to provide a general description of the duties to be performed by the employee, which may not be an all-inclusive list of duties.

29.2

Employees are responsible for performing the work assigned to them.

29.3

Employees shall be provided a copy of their classification description and job schedules upon request so long as such request is made in such a manner as to not interfere with the work being performed by the employee.

29.4

The College may modify classification descriptions on an as needed basis. If job classifications are modified by the College, the Coalition and all affected employees will be notified in writing.

29.5

Upon request by the Coalition, the parties shall meet to discuss the modifications. The Coalition may make recommendations regarding the content of modified classification descriptions.
