Here’s a list of events that will take place in March:

Friday, March 2 – Holi: Indian Festival of Colors at Main Campus, Student Resource Center lawn, 11 a.m.-noon. Wear old clothes/sneakers and prepare to be covered in colored powder! First come, first served. Liability waiver required and safety gear provided.

Monday, March 5 – Belly Dancer performance at Main Campus, Student Services Center, noon-1 p.m.

Tuesday, March 6 – Argentinian Tango Dance Workshop at Main Campus, Student Services Center cafeteria, noon-1 p.m.

Tuesday, March 6 – Media Representation of Arabs” with faculty member Bill Heenan at Main Campus, E Building, Room 102, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 8 – Lecture on New Mexico’s Indigenous, Spanish, Mexican and U.S. History by Dr. Richard Mezler at Main Campus, Smith Brasher Hall, Room 104, 10:30-11:45 a.m.

Thursday, March 8 – Heritage Spanish Presentation at Main Campus, Student Services Center cafeteria, 12:30-2:30 p.m.

March 12-23 – Origami Craft Table (instructions to make your own Origami) at Westside Campus, Michael J. Glennon Building atrium, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Tuesday, March 13 – Farsi Workshop at Main Campus, Student Services Center cafeteria, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, March 13 – Karate Self-Defense Workshop at Main Campus, Student Services Center cafeteria, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Wednesday March 14 – Didgeridoo Performance by Rev LeReve Tsolwizar at Westside Campus, Westside I, Room 304, 1-3 p.m.

Wednesday, March 14 –The Global Edge: How to Compete in the International Job Market by Maney, Gordon and Zeller, P.A. at Main Campus, Student Services Center cafeteria, 11 a.m.-noon

Thursday, March 29 – Youth Global Innovator Session: Final Community Project Presentations by Visiting High School Students from Chile and Argentina at Main Campus, Student Resource Center, Room 204, 2:30-4 p.m.

Thursday, March 29 – Flamenco Dance Workshop at Main Campus, Coal Avenue Theatre, 4-5 p.m.
