2017 Winter Break Deadlines for Postings and Hires

October 12, 2017 -- Human Resources (HR), the Budget Office and the Payroll Office collaborated to arrange an organized process for job postings and hiring prior to Winter Break. In order to ensure postings and hirings are processed in a timely and accurate manner, the following deadlines are in place for CNM.

Position Management Forms
All Position Management Forms are due to HR with all appropriate approvals on or before Wednesday, November 22, 2017, to ensure they are approved at the November 28, 2017, Executive Team meeting. Postings from Position Management Forms (PMF) approved on or after the Executive Team meeting on November 28, 2017, must remain posted during the Winter Break and hires will be processed after January 2, 2018.

Hiring Proposals
Faculty hires (spring term) and staff hires are due in the HR queue (accurate and complete), via CNMJobs, no later than November 29, 2017. Intersession hires will be processed as needed. The last daytime NEO for 2017 will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017. 

Faculty Postings
In order to ensure postings are published prior to Winter Break, faculty postings are due in the HR queue (accurate and complete), via CNMJobs, no later than December 8, 2017. An approved and accurate PMF is required.

Staff Postings
In order to ensure postings are published prior to Winter Break, staff postings are due in the HR queue (accurate and complete), via CNMJobs, no later than December 8, 2017.  An approved and accurate PMF is required.    

Job postings will remain open for applicants to apply during Winter Break.  All requests sent through CNMJobs must be accurate and complete to include appropriate approvals, including but not limited to – approved PMFs, approval(s) from Grant Accounting, and/or approval(s) from Executive Team, etc. 

***No new postings will be accepted following December 8, 2017, in CNMJobs (People Admin). All new postings will need to be submitted in the new Applicant Tracking System, Cornerstone, effective February 1, 2018.
