Banner 9 Upgrade Going Live Saturday

The new Banner 9 is scheduled to go live on Saturday, Nov. 3, bringing an improved user experience and more powerful features. Internet Explorer 11 (32-bit version) has been selected as the browser of choice. Here are the steps needed to ensure your desktop is ready for Banner 9:

  • Install the Banner 9 test icon by going to the welcome page of Community Insights and click on the “Banner 9 Test Icon” link at the upper left. The Banner 9 Prod Icon will be available starting on Monday, Nov 5.
  • Users should also update the “Java Site Exception List.” To update it, click on the “Start” button in the lower left corner of your screen, click on “All Apps” and scroll down and click on “Microsoft System Center,” click on “Software Center,” then click on “Java Site Exception List.”
