New Transfer Path from CNM to EC-Council University for Information Security

May 4, 2016 -- CNM and EC-Council University have signed an articulation agreement that will make it easier for students from CNM to transfer credits to the university’s Bachelor of Science in Information Security program.

EC-Council University is affiliated with EC-Council, a professional certification body best-known for its certification of the Certified Ethical Hacker.  

Under the new agreement, EC-Council University will grant admission for CNM students upon completion of an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree. CNM programs recommended for transfer are Associate of Arts in Business, Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems and Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Health Informatics.

CNM students with an associate degree and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 will be considered for acceptance into the EC-Council’s fully online bachelor's degree in Information Security. EC-Council University will accept 60 credit hours of coursework from an associate degree and apply them directly towards the 120 total credit hour requirement for the bachelor's degree. In addition, CNM and EC-Council University have identified courses that articulate and directly satisfy requirements within the general coursework of the bachelor's in Information Security.
