CNM Mobile Welding Lab Moving from Main to Rio Rancho Campus

September 6, 2017 -- CNM’s state-of-the-art Mobile Welding Lab that is part of the School of Applied Technologies (AT) welding program has been relocated from Main Campus to the Rio Rancho Campus. Enrollment for a new Friday class at the mobile lab is now underway.

In this new class, students will learn welding basics from veteran instructor Anita Martinez, which will include a range of welding processes and an introduction to blueprint reading.

The Mobile Welding Lab is outfitted with the latest equipment, and the small class sizes will allow for personalized attention. Students will need to supply a welding hood, gloves, appropriate footwear and simple tools.

Classes will take place on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. beginning Sept.18 and end on Dec. 10. It’s a three-credit class. Dual credit high school students are also welcome to register.

For more information on enrolling in this welding lab or other classes in the School of Applied Technologies, call 224-3711 or email technology@cnm.edu.
