Learn About National Trends in Developmental Education at Seminar

Dr Philip Uri Treisman, a professor of mathematics and public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin will lead a seminar entitled “Improving Developmental Education, A National Perspective” on May 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Workforce Training Center, room 103. Group work and integrated instruction and student services will be emphasized.

Dr Philip Uri Treisman, a professor of mathematics and public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin will lead a seminar entitled “Improving Developmental Education, A National Perspective” on May 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Workforce Training Center, room 103. He will explain his influences, core ideas, workshop model and address structural impediments to success in existing mathematic curriculum and programs.
