Rio Rancho High Students Tour Westside Campus

May 10, 2017 -- Students from Rio Rancho High School recently got a close up look at the CNM Westside Campus. They spent a half day touring the campus and attending workshops on time management, financial aid and health care learning opportunities.

“I could tell that the visit convinced several of the 125 students to take courses at CNM,” said Jackie Walker, New Student Orientation (NSO) Outreach Manager. “Some of them were already enrolled in CNM’s dual credit program where they take college courses while still in high school. It was a great learning experience.”

The students were particularly intrigued by the Anatomy and Physiology lab where they got to see and touch a Syndaver, a life-like head-to-toe replica of the human body, from skin with fat tissue to elastic tendons and ligaments to squishy organs to rigid bones.
