For example, some instructors are using real solar-power systems at CNM to teach math, electrical and chemistry concepts; and composting worm bins are being used as course topics in biology, geography, culinary arts and technical writing. Read more.

The Campus as a Living Lab concept not only provides engaging learning opportunities for students, but it’s goal is also to produce more environmentally conscious students who will be more inclined to lead sustainable lifestyles after they graduate.
