CNM Mobile Welding Lab Moving from Main to Rio Rancho Campus

September 6, 2017 -- CNM’s state-of-the-art Mobile Welding Lab that is part of the School of Applied Technologies (AT) welding program has been relocated from Main Campus to the Rio Rancho Campus. Enrollment for a new Friday class at the mobile lab is now underway.

CNM Sets New Records for Number of Graduates and Graduation Awards

Aug. 31, 2017 -- The numbers are in for the 2016-17 academic year, and CNM has surged to all-time records for number of graduates and graduation awards in an academic year. CNM awarded 13,778 graduation awards (associate degrees and certificates) to 9,075 students, both of which eclipsed previous CNM records.

August 29, 3017 -- Barbara Gilbert, a CNM physics and engineering faculty member, spent part of her summer sharing her experiences as a woman in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) field, including being a motivational speaker to councilors at a girls’ camp, Tech Trek, held at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
