Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Program Outcomes

Program outcomes are used as an objective measurable tool to evaluate the program. The Medical Laboratory Technician Program will assure program effectiveness by adhering to the outcome thresholds established by the Central New Mexico Community College Program Review process in student retention, job placement rate and credential success rate.

Student Retention

The MLT program will strive to maintain an annual graduation rate of 70% or better with greater than 10 graduate awards conferred annually.

Credentialing Success

The MLT program will strive to maintain an ASCP Board of Certification overall attempt rate of 50% within one year of graduation with a three-year pass rate of 75%.
