REACH Tip
Successful students REACH: they are Resilient, Empowered, Accountable, Curious and Hopeful.
Hopeful: Successful students are hopeful. According to Allie Grasgreen, hopeful students “set goals, visualize paths to achieve them and summon the motivation to start down those paths.”
Studies suggest that hopeful students graduate 16% more than their peers. How will your practice hopefulness this spring?
Resources For Students
According to NASPA, half of college students who drop out do so because of an expense less than $1,500. CNM’s Rust Opportunity Assistance Fund helps students who encounter an unexpected expense that might jeopardize their ability to finish the term.
