Architectural / Engineering Drafting Technology Program
The CNM Architectural/Engineering Drafting Technology program prepares students to work in the construction industry as drafting technicians, estimators or sales representatives for residential and commercial contractors.
Students can earn a Certificate of Completion in three terms, or continue for an additional two terms and earn an Associate of Applied Science degree.
The curriculum incorporates mathematics, technical writing and blueprint reading.
Students also gain experience using state-of-the-art computer applications—such as 2D and 3D CAD software—throughout the program.
Communication, teamwork and problem-solving techniques are taught to prepare students for success in the construction industry.
