Parking and Fleet Services at CNM

You must register your vehicle with Parking Services when parking on any CNM campus. CNM Fleet Service vehicles are available for eligible employees conducting official CNM business.

Uber and Lyft

New Uber/Lyft pick up/drop off area located just North of the city bus stop in front of MS on University Blvd. Look for new "UBER/LYFT" signs.

Overflow Parking

The North Lot Overflow has been renamed Central Lot Overflow and a Central permit will be required. Also, the parking lot west of the Public Safety building, currently part of Smith Brasher Lot 3, will be renamed Public Safety Lot and a general permit will be required.

Contact Parking Services

Parking Services is located in the Public Safety (PS) building on Main Campus (map).

CNM Parking and Fleet Services will be operating on an “Open Lot” schedule through Summer 2020.

  • During this period your CNM permit is valid in any lot.
  • Parking Services will still issue citations for meters, fire lanes, handicap and any signed spaces.
  • Call security dispatch with any questions at (505) 224-3002

Fall 2020 permits will be available July 20, 2020.

There are various types of parking options for you at CNM campuses. However, every campus lot requires either a registered window decal permit or hanging tag permit. If your vehicle is parked in a CNM parking lot and you do not have the proper permit displayed, you will receive parking citations.

Types of Parking

Be sure to get your permit for either a general or reserved lot before your classes start and plan to arrive early to give yourself time to park and walk to class.

Parking Enforcement Hours

Parking enforcement occurs year-round, seven days a week, 24 hours per day for fire lanes, disabled parking, and for violations that affect the health and safety of students and faculty and staff members.

  • Parking is enforced in all lots from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  •  All lots are open after 4:00 p.m. and all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • No overnight parking is permitted.
  • All vehicles need a permit or valid Park Mobile Session to park on CNM property.
  • Parking meters are enforced year round.
  • All lots close at 10 p.m.
