Payment Deadlines

Registration payment deadlines.

Payment Methods

If we have not received payment, or you haven't set up a payment plan, by the listed deadlines, you will be dropped from your classes.

Deadlines by Term

Spring 2018 Payment Deadlines

If payment in full or payment arrangements, (financial aid memos, payment plans, or third party authorizations), have not been received by the deadlines listed below, you may be dropped from your classes.

Prior to November 10

If you register for classes before November 10, you must make your payment or arrangements by November 10.

November 10 – January 4

If you register for classes on or after November 10, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements for Payment in person (by 5:00 p.m.) or through myCNM (by 10:00 p.m.) by the deadlines listed below.

Payment must be received by the Friday following registration.

Examples: 

  • Registrations made on Monday, November 27, must be paid by Friday, December 1.
  • Registrations made on Friday, December 15, must be paid by Friday, December 22.

On or After January 5

If you register for classes on or after January 5, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements by the end of the following business day after registration.

Examples: 

  • Registrations made on Friday, January 5, must be paid by Monday, January 8.
  • Registrations made on Tuesday, January 9, must be paid by Wednesday, January 10.
  • Registrations made on Monday, January 15, must be paid by Tuesday, January 16.

Summer 2018 Payment Deadlines

If payment in full or payment arrangements, (financial aid memos, payment plans, or third party authorizations), have not been received by the deadlines listed below, you may be dropped from your classes.

Prior to March 9

If you register for classes before March 9, you must make your payment or arrangements by March 9.

March 9 – May 4

If you register for classes on or after March 9, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements for Payment in person (by 5:00 p.m.) or through myCNM (by 10:00 p.m.) by the Friday following registration.

Examples: 

  • Registrations made on Monday, April 2, must be paid by Friday, April 6.
  • Registrations made on Friday, April 20, must be paid by Friday, April 27.

On or After May 5

If you register for classes on or after May 5, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements by the end of the following business day after registration.

Examples: 

  • Registrations made on Monday, May 7, must be paid by Tuesday, May 8.
  • Registrations made on Friday, Friday 18, must be paid by Monday, May 21.
  • Registrations made on Tuesday, May 29, must be paid by Wednesday, May 30.

Fall 2018 Payment Deadlines

If payment in full or payment arrangements, (financial aid memos, payment plans, or third party authorizations), have not been received by the deadlines listed below, you may be dropped from your classes.

Prior to June 22

If you register for classes before June 22, you must make your payment or arrangements by June 22.

June 22 – August 17

If you register for classes on or after June 22, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements for Payment in person (by 5:00 p.m.) or through myCNM (by 10:00 p.m.) by the Friday following registration.

Examples: 

  • Registrations made on Monday, July 16,  must be paid by Friday, June 20.
  • Registrations made on Friday, August 3, must be paid by Friday, August 10.

On or After August 18

If you register for classes on or after August 20, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements by the end of the following business day after registration.

Examples: 

  • Registrations made on Monday, August 20 must be paid by Tuesday, August 21.
  • Registrations made on Friday, August 31 must be paid by Tuesday, September 4.
  • Registrations made on Saturday, September 11, must be paid by Wednesday, September 12.

Changes in Your Schedule

If you do not attend a class, don’t assume it will be dropped. You are responsible for dropping any classes for which you are registered. You are responsible for any charges associated with your class schedule. You may receive a grade in a class even if you do not attend and fail to drop.
