Payment Deadlines

Registration payment deadlines.

Payment Methods

If we have not received payment, or you haven't set up a payment plan, by the listed deadlines, you will be dropped from your classes.

Deadlines by Term

    Fall 2018 Payment Deadlines

    If payment in full or payment arrangements, (financial aid memos, payment plans, or third party authorizations), have not been received by the deadlines listed below, you may be dropped from your classes.

    Prior to June 22

    If you register for classes before June 22, you must make your payment or arrangements by June 22.

    June 22 – August 17

    If you register for classes on or after June 22, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements for Payment in person (by 5:00 p.m.) or through myCNM (by 10:00 p.m.) by the Friday following registration.

    Examples: 

    • Registrations made on Monday, July 16,  must be paid by Friday, June 20.
    • Registrations made on Friday, August 3, must be paid by Friday, August 10.

    On or After August 18

    If you register for classes on or after August 20, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements by the end of the following business day after registration.

    Examples: 

    • Registrations made on Monday, August 20 must be paid by Tuesday, August 21.
    • Registrations made on Friday, August 31 must be paid by Tuesday, September 4.
    • Registrations made on Saturday, September 11, must be paid by Wednesday, September 12.

    Spring 2019 Payment Deadlines

    Prior to October 26

    If you register for classes before October 26, you must make your payment or arrangements by October 26.

    October 26 - January 3

    If you register for classes on or after October 26, you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements for Payment in person (by 5:00 p.m.) or through myCNM (by 10:00 p.m.)  by the Friday following registration.

    Examples: 

    • Registrations made on Monday November 5, must be paid by Friday November 9.
    • Registrations made on Friday November 30, must be paid by Friday December 7.

    On or After January 4

    If you register for classes on or after January 4 you must pay your account balance in full or make arrangements by the end of the following business day after registration.

    Examples: 

    • Registrations made on Monday January 7, must be paid by Tuesday January 8.
    • Registrations made on Friday January 11, must be paid by Monday January 14.
    • Registrations made on Saturday January 12, must be paid by Monday January 14

    Changes in Your Schedule

    If you do not attend a class, don’t assume it will be dropped. You are responsible for dropping any classes for which you are registered. You are responsible for any charges associated with your class schedule. You may receive a grade in a class even if you do not attend and fail to drop.

    Print your class schedule after any change you make.
