The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has been hard on us all, and CNM wants to ensure you have the support you need. We will be providing monthly Student Wellness Newsletters and Wellness Webinars / Support Groups to keep you healthy.

Webinars and Support Groups

Our Wellness Webinars and Support Groups are available for you to get support and build community with other students.

  • Wellness Webinars are monthly topical presentations with interactive opportunities for your engagement, including confidential polling questions, chat comments, and a question and answer period.
  • Support Groups provide an opportunity for you to listen to and share experiences with your peers. Gain connection and develop new ways to manage the stress and isolation of your studies, particularly amidst the backdrop of the pandemic. In the Support Groups you can listen only, if you prefer not to contribute to the discussion.

You are welcome to join both the webinar and support group or just one.

Setting Boundaries With Social Media

Webinar: January 24 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Support Group: January 27 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Many of us have challenges with setting boundaries with others. What about setting boundaries with ourselves? In this series, we will discuss different types of boundaries, review the addictive nature of social media, and discuss ways we might protect ourselves from being assaulted by, addicted to, or lost in our social media apps and tools. By setting boundaries to take care of ourselves we can develop healthier social media habits.
