CNM Libraries
The CNM Libraries support faculty, staff, students, and community members across all CNM campuses, with locations at Main, Montoya, South Valley, and the Westside. Each location provides services to check out materials, get research help, schedule and attend library instruction classes, and have materials sent from any of our four libraries.
Using the Libraries
Library patrons are required to complete and sign a Release Form to create an account with the CNM Libraries. Once an account is created, access to all UNM libraries and materials is also available. Print, and sign this release form and bring it to any CNM Library location (mailed forms are not accepted). Students must complete this form once each semester and provide a current class schedule and CNM ID to create an account. Faculty and staff complete this form only once.Databases: Online collections of magazine, newspaper, and journal articles. Research specific topics in scholarly or full-text articles that are unavailable in the library.
Advanced Catalog Search: The default search box, above, provides a general keyword search. The Libros Advanced Keyword Search feature includes specific search options for author, title, subject, or note, as well as access to many libraries throughout New Mexico. Also within Libros, the View My Library Account page provides online options to view your account, renew library items, or place online holds for checked out items.
Electronic Periodicals: Search for full-text periodicals, such as newspapers, magazines, and journals in some of our subscribed databases.
Schedule Media: Instructor request form to reserve media items for classes.
Book Pick-up: Have CNM library books delivered to any CNM campus for pick up.
