2026 General Obligation (GO) Bond 3 Election

No Tax Rate Increase

On November 3, 2026, New Mexico voters will decide on General Obligation (GO) Bond 3, a statewide bond measure that supports public higher education institutions across New Mexico. All registered voters in New Mexico can vote in this election. 

If approved, GO Bond 3 would fund capital improvement projects at colleges, universities, and specialty schools throughout the state. The measure would support facility improvements, technology upgrades, workforce development initiatives, and critical infrastructure projects— all without raising your property tax rates.

What Would GO Bond 3 Mean for CNM? 

CNM Center for Technical Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development 

GO Bond 3 would provide $15 million toward CNM's proposed Center for Technical Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development. The center would help CNM expand opportunities in:

  • Advanced manufacturing
  • Aerospace
  • Artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Clean energy
  • Cybersecurity
  • Quantum computing
  • Entrepreneurship and innovation programs

The facility will be located at the CAMINO Collaborative campus near Sandia National Laboratories' publicly accessible Science & Technology Park, where learners, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders will come together to support workforce development, innovation, and economic growth in New Mexico.
