Student Success Teams

Team 1: Student Experience
Objective: Deliver an exceptional student experience.

Current Strategies:

  • Smooth the path for incoming students

Team 2: Lead in Access, Retention, Graduation
Objective: Lead in access, retention, and graduation among all student populations.

Current Strategies:

  • Policies and practices that impact part-time and full-time student access
  • Improving persistence and retention
  • Graduation rates of students of color

Team 3: Innovative Approaches:
Objective: Use innovative approaches and develop agile, continuous learners.

Current Strategies:

  • Path to Gen Ed complete (cohort model for students to complete all general education requirements)

Community Success Teams

Team 1: Leaders and Workforce 
Objective: Develop leaders and meet the education and workforce needs of New Mexico

Current Strategies:

  • Develop central processes and data tracking for work experiences
  • Federal Work-Study experimental site initiative (off-campus work study positions)

Objective: Build public and private-sector partnerships that foster economic development opportunities.

  • Develop partnership types and fields for Salesforce
  • Standardize partnership tracking across CNM

Team 1: Service Excellence/Operational Efficiency
Objective: Deliver service excellence and operational efficiency across the College.

  • ERP support

Objective: Provide a welcoming, safe, and equitable employee experience.

  • Enhanced new employee orientation
