With nationally-accredited business education programs, top-tier support services, and modern, affordable spaces, the CNM Business Incubator Program will put you on the path to being a successful entrepreneur.

The Program

CNM offers a variety of business and entrepreneurship-focused education options for business owners and their staff. Whether you want to take one class to sharpen your skills or earn a degree, CNM offers flexible business education through both in-person and online courses. You’ll also have regular access to free support and mentorship from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the International Business Accelerator (IBA). Through a combination of nationally-accredited college coursework and on-site advice and mentorship, the CNM Business Incubator Program can help your business grow in a way that no other program can match.

Program Features:

  • Help with important start-up business needs, including but not limited to: your business plan, market research, business registration, forming an LLC or corporation, and managing business finances
  • Access to a two semester, 21 credit hour Entrepreneurship Certificate Program that can be completed almost entirely online
  • Business-focused classes, certificate and degree programs like accounting, bookkeeping, digital marketing, project management, analytics and more
  • Meetings with your mentors at SBDC and/or IBA at least once per month

The Space

The Tom Wiley (TW) building is the home of entrepreneurship on Montoya Campus. Featuring recent renovations, an open floor plan and welcoming spaces for customers and guests, the TW building lets your business present a professional atmosphere right from the start. Being in the TW building also means being a part of the small business ecosystem at CNM, with a wide variety of business assistance services right at your doorstep. And with a discounted rent structure that lets your business grow during those first critical months, it’s easy to see why the CNM Business Incubator Program is the right choice for your startup business.

The Campus


Montoya Campus is also home to CNM Business and Information Technology (BIT) classes, making access to small business education convenient, easy, and affordable for you and your staff. Join our campus community and start your business at CNM! Nestled in the Sandia foothills, the 42-acre Montoya Campus hosts hundreds of students per day—all of whom could be sources of feedback, or test cases for your product and/or services, as well as potentially loyal, long-term customers.

The Neighborhood

Montoya Campus is located in the heart of Albuquerque’s Northeast Heights, a rapidly growing neighborhood that has experienced recent revitalization for both businesses and residents alike. Located near the intersection of Montgomery and Juan Tabo, on-campus businesses are just three miles from the Paseo del Norte corridor, and just four miles from I-40. In addition,  Montoya Campus is within a close proximity of many registered businesses and thousands of residents, making it a perfect location for both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales.
