Gifts in Memory or Honor

Honor someone special or recognize an important event or date with a memorial or commemorative gift.

Employee Giving

Leading the Way, the CNM Employee Giving Campaign, allows employees to donate to the charity of their choice. Each year, CNM employees give thousands of dollars to better their community.

Matching Gifts

Many national and local corporations will match their employees' gifts to the CNM Foundation dollar-for-dollar, doubling the power of your gift. Some companies in the Albuquerque area who may participate in a matching gift program include: General Mills, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Home Depot, Lockheed Martin, PNM, Performance Software Solutions, and Starbucks.

To find out more about whether your workplace matches charitable gifts and if there are any restrictions, contact your Human Resources department.

In-Kind Donations

Gifts of Stock or Property

Please contact Clint Wells at cwells21@cnm.edu for more information about these types of gifts and request a stock intent form.

Scholarships and Endowed Funds

The CNM Foundation is committed to the principle that no student should be denied the opportunity for an education due solely to a lack of financial resources. Yet, CNM has a higher percentage of students with financial need than any other New Mexico college. Although the college receives federal and state financial assistance, these funds do not meet CNM students' vast need for financial assistance in order to improve their lives through higher education. For information about donating to existing scholarships, or to establish a named scholarship or scholarship endowment, please visit the Scholarships and Endowed Funds page

Planned Giving, Wills and Bequests

Leave a legacy or bequest for the CNM Foundation in your will. The CNM Foundation would be honored to help you and your family make a planned gift to benefit CNM and its students. Our department is equipped to handle planned gifts in many forms including but not limited to bequests, Designated Beneficiary Gifts, IRA Rollovers and Charitable Gift Annuities.

For more information about how you can leave a legacy with CNM, please contact Clint Wells, Executive Director, at (505) 224-4683 or cwells21@cnm.edu

CNM License Plate

Show your CNM pride with a license plate that also supports student education! When you upgrade your car or want to share your college roots, drive in style with a CNM Suncat License Plate. Any passenger vehicle registered in New Mexico can get this plate.

The annual fee for this special plate is $37 each year in addition to the standard cost of vehicle registration. $25 of the fee collected for each special collegiate registration plate goes to the CNM Foundation to support student scholarships.
