The BRC is a resource for Business & Information Technology students to complete homework assignments, practice skills, and work on distance learning classes.

The Business Resource Centers (BRC)

The Assistance Center for Education (ACE) Business Resource Centers (BRC) at Main and Montoya campuses support student success in the Business & Information Technology programs. Students can receive assistance with computer course work and business math or accounting.

As the BRC is an extension of the classroom, it is available for class-related work only.  In addition, the BRC is a computer lab and follows the same rules as all other computer labs on campus.

Students can receive assistance or tutoring in IT 1010, Accounting, Adobe applications, and other multimedia applications. Students can also practice their skills in keyboarding, court reporting, and paralegal studies.

Resources Available in the BRC

  • Computer Tutors
  • Accounting Tutor (20/hours week) 
  • Support on Microsoft Office and multimedia applications(Including Adobe products), Macintosh, accounting software
  • BIT Accounting programs, QuickBooks, Peachtree
  • Classroom textbooks (for use in the BRC only)
  • Scanners, calculators
  • Achievement Coach (Main only)
