Early-stage Businesses Wanted for Free IGNITE Community Accelerator

July 6, 2016 -- Applications are now being accepted through Aug. 5 for the next IGNITE Community Accelerator, an entrepreneurial accelerator that helps young businesses grow up fast. It’s operated by CNM’s STEMulus Center in downtown Albuquerque and is free for those selected.

Oct. 8, 2015 -- Dr. Dennis McQuillan, geologist for the Environment Department and technical lead for the Kirtland Fuel Spill Remediation Project, will speak about his work on the spill and similar endeavors with the Animas River cleanup on Oct. 14 from 6-7 p.m. in the CNM Student Resource Center, Room 204.

CNM to Offer Fast Track Business Associate Degree

July 31, 2014 -- Central New Mexico Community College will be offering a “fast track” Business Administration Associates of Applied Science Degree program starting this fall at the new CNM STEMulus Center in downtown Albuquerque. In only 15 months, two nights a week and online students can earn their degrees.

March 20, 2013 -- For the summer term, CNM will be offering about 20 percent of its course sections in an 8-week format, allowing students to reduce the length of a course by about a month and extend their summer break. A normal summer term course at CNM runs 12 weeks.
