Welcome to the Online Employment Application System of Central New Mexico Community College.

How to Apply for a Position at CNM

Central New Mexico Community College only accepts on-line employment applications for announced job vacancies that are posted on this web-site. The system will allow the applicant to create and save their application. Therefore applicants need only complete their application once. The same application can then be used to apply for different positions without having to create a new application each time.

To Get Started

1. Search open job listings at CNM. When you find a job you like, click the link to apply. The link will take you to the Home Page for filing job applications.

The title at the top of the Home Page for filing job applications will say: Thank you for your interest in employment with CNM! (This is how you will know you are at the right place to start).

2.     Follow the instructions on the Home Page for filing applications. Applications must be submitted before 5pm on the closing date advertised.

* * New users can “Search Postings” and “Create Application” by clicking on the appropriate link on the menu bar. When creating an application new users will be instructed to establish their own account.

* * When creating an account it is important for applicants to record and remember their user name and password (you will need it for future reference)!!

* * Returning Users can access their accounts by clicking on the Login link on the menu bar.

3.     Most jobs will require you to submit other necessary documents.

These documents will be listed on the posting preview or job announcement and include resume, copies of transcripts, and cover letter. Some jobs also require special certifications pertaining to unique licensure requirements.

* * You will be able to submit these necessary documents each time you apply for a position. There will be directions prompting you how and when to attach your documents.

* * In other words the necessary documents are attachments that must be submitted by uploading the required document on line. Remember: The on line system will prompt the applicant to do this when the applicant is actually applying for a specific job. The employment application will be created and saved separately. All attachments should be uploaded as a Microsoft Word document or a PDF file. Please note that attaching these documents does not substitute for completing the application form.

Letters of reference, performance evaluations of any type, and letters of recommendation are not accepted unless specifically requested on the job announcement.

If you have difficulties applying on line you may submit your questions by e-mail to with the appropriate job number. Those applicants needing personal assistance may use one of the Kiosks located at the Human Resources Department to complete the application process.
