New Student Orientation

Welcome to CNM! We're glad to have you. On your path to registering as a new student, you should plan to complete a New Student Orientation.

Beginning Freshmen

If you are beginning college for the first time in the Fall, you should sign up to attend an in-person New Student Orientation. If you are planning to get the Bridge to Success Scholarship, this orientation is a requirement for eligibility.

In-Person Orientations for the Fall term are now complete. The next in-person Orientation sessions will be offered in late fall for the Spring Term.

Dual Credit Students

If you are a dual credit student, you should complete the Online Orientation.

Returning and Transfer Students

If you have attended college previously, you should complete the Online Orientation. If you attended college through high school programs (Dual Credit, Making Money Work, etc.) you may still be required to attend the In-Person Orientation.

In-Person Orientation

Our New Student Orientation was created with you in mind. During your three-hour orientation, you'll learn what you need to know to get a successful start at CNM, meet other new students, and

  • Find out how to register for classes
  • Learn about the many academic programs we offer
  • Familiarize yourself with Student Services, such as CNM Connect.

Why attend Orientation?

Attending an in-person orientation will help you get started on your college career and help you understand what to expect as a new student.

All incoming freshman who will be qualifying for CNM's Bridge to Success Scholarship are required to attend an in-person orientation.
