ID Services is part of the Student Activities Office

Student, Faculty, and Staff Identification

A CNM student is eligible for a student ID card once they have fully registered for classes. CNM students must present a current class schedule or a class schedule for the upcoming term.

There is NO charge for your first ID. If you have had a previous CNM ID card, you must trade it in for a new one. Below you will find information on replacement fees, which is payable at the Cashier’s office.

In an effort to make CNM a safer campus, the college mandates that all persons must (students, faculty and staff) carry on them at all times their CNM ID.

All CNM services require a student ID in order to conduct business.

You'll need to bring a government-issued (federal or state) ID with your legal name, date of birth, and signature to obtain a CNM ID. Acceptable examples include:

  • State-issued driver’s license or ID card
  • Passport
  • INS Visa (“green card”)
  • Military ID
  • Tribal ID
  • Foreign government-issued ID

CNM ID Replacement

Any ID replacement would be $25.00.

Guest ID Replacement

The 1st Guest ID is $15.00 and any renewals after the 1st. The Guest ID is only good for the semester that is was provided. (e.g. A Guest ID provided on August 17, 2015 will expire on Saturday, December 12, 2015.)

Any Guest ID replacement would be $25.00.

Bus Pass Replacement

Any bus pass replacement would be $25.00.


The Central ID Office is located at Main Campus in the Student Services Center (SSC), 900 University Ave, SE, SSC111. The operation hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The phone number is (505) 224-4647.
