Your myCNM account is primarily used to register and pay for classes, but it houses much more.
Accessing your myCNM account requires a CNM email address and password. Below is how to get this information.
Username, Email Address and ID Number
Your CNM email address is your username followed by @cnm.edu (i.e., joesmith@cnm.edu).
If you don't know your username, look it up with your ID number and date of birth. If you don't know your ID number, please visit our contact page. We will need to ask you a few questions directly to get your ID number for you.
Password
The first time you login to myCNM, you'll need to set up your password. Your CNM password will help you access your CNM email and Brightspace (for online classes and some face-to-face classes).
Keep this in mind when you're creating your first CNM password, it should:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- Have at least one upper case letter, one lowercase letter and one number
- Not include your name or CNM username
These help to keep your CNM account and information safe. Use this password for CNM Brightspace and your Outlook email. We recommend bookmarking these username and password assistance pages. You can use these at any point, whether you're a new or established student.
How to Sign in to myCNM
- Go to myCNM.
- Enter your CNM email address and click the 'Next' button.
- Enter your password and click the 'Sign in' button.
