CNM Online staff is composed of instructional consultants, multimedia specialists, technicians, a student achievement coach, and support staff. Our team also provides support for all CNM faculty working in our learning management system (LMS), Brightspace.
Online Options at CNM
CNM Online oversees all online options administered through
CNM Online, our 100% online college with limited program offerings and different educational structure.
Standard Online Program/Class Option
If you're enrolling in a standard online program offering, the experience will be very similar to face-to-face classes. These classes are:
any length of time between 2-15 weeks; and
not prescribed or guaranteed on the schedule.
You can piece together a degree (psychology, for example) by taking all of its courses online, but the courses are not offered in a prescribed sequence, nor are they guaranteed to be on the schedule, as they would be with CNM Online.
Placement testing is also required andtuitionis not inclusive of fees or books.
To enroll in an online class, look up the class as you would any other in the Schedule of Classes. The specific class will note if there's an online option and what kind of online option it is.

State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA)
Central New Mexico Community College has recently been approved to participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) via the NM Higher Education Department and the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) As a participating institution, CNM Online Courses/Programs will need to follow the Interregional Guidelines for the Evaluation of Distance Education programs.
