Anthropology Transfer Options

Complete your Associate of Arts in Anthropology at CNM and transfer to ENMU, NMHU, NMSU, or UNM to earn your bachelor's degree.

University Requirements for Transfer

The following course clusters are the unique requirements for each transfer major. All courses listed can be completed as part of your associates degree.

Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU)

Anthropology

Catalog 2025-2027

  • MATH 1350 - Introduction to Statistics (Recommended)**
  • Two courses in either ANTH or GEOG electives***

Selecting this course will fulfill your Program Approved Elective Requirement and count toward your ENMU program requirements, helping you maximize your transfer credits:

  • ANTH 1120C - Introduction to Archaeology Lecture and Lab
  • ANTH 1135 - Introduction to Biological Anthropology
  • ANTH 1140 - Introduction to Cultural Anthropology
