Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Transfer Options

Complete your Associate of Applied Science in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology at CNM and transfer to ENMU, NMHU, or UNM.

 Transfer Pathways

Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU)

The ENMU BAAS program is a transfer pathway for all CNM AAS degrees. Your AAS degree will transfer and apply toward the ENMU BAAS program. In addition, the ENMU BAAS program requires completion of the New Mexico General Education curriculum as part of its degree requirements. These General Education courses can be completed prior to transfer.

Below, you’ll find a list of courses that can be taken in addition to your AAS to ensure you transfer with your General Education requirements complete:

  • One Communications Requirement Course
  • One Creative and Fine Arts Requirement Course
  • One Social and Behavioral Science Requirement Course
  • Two Multi-Discipline/Flexible Requirement Courses*

*This requirement may change based on the student's completion of prerequisites for BIOL 2210. Please meet with your academic advisor to assess your specific situation.

New Mexico Highlands University (NMHU)

BAS

The NMHU BAS program is a transfer pathway for all AAS students. The BAS program will receive a total of 30 credit hours of CTE coursework and the 31 credit hours NM General Education Core. With your AAS, you will complete the 30 credit hour CTE requirements. For students that would like to transfer with the 31 NM General Education requirement, please complete the following courses.

The following courses meet the New Mexico General Education requirements. The following courses, in addition to your AAS degree requirements, will satisfy the NMHU Gen Ed requirements:

  • One Communications course
  • One Creative and Fine Arts course
  • One Social and Behavioral Science course
  • ECON 2110 - Macroeconomic Principles

or

  • ECON 2120- Microeconomics Principles

In addition to earning your AAS degree, these are additional courses that directly fulfill NMHU BAS requirements before transferring:

  • BLAW 2110 - Business Law I
  • MKTG 2110 - Principles of Marketing
  • MGMT 2110 - Principles of Management
  • ECON 2110 - Macroeconomic Principles

or

  • ECON 2120- Microeconomics Principles

University of Holy Cross (UHC)

CNM students who successfully complete the courses listed in this agreement have earned the CNM AAS – Electroneurodiagnostic Technology degree, and who have passed the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) national certification exam as a Registered EEG Technologists (R. EEG T.), are permitted to transfer them to University of Holy Cross (UHC) toward the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Curriculum for EEG Technologists degree.

The total number of credit hours required to complete this bachelor’s degree is 120 semester hours. CNM AAS – ENDT graduates can transfer 61 hours (28 hours specified professional training program credit hours 33 additional hours credit of required prerequisites) from the CNM AAS – ENDT degree for credit from UHC. Students can complete 29 credit hours towards the UHC Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Curriculum for EEG Technologists degree in addition to earning their Associate of Applied Sciences in Electroneurodiagnostic at CNM.

University of New Mexico (UNM)

OILS Program

The UNM OILS program is a transfer pathway for all AAS students. The OILS program will receive a total of 30 credit hours of CTE coursework and the 31 credit hours NM General Education Core. With your AAS, you will complete the 30 credit hour CTE requirements. For students that would like to transfer with the 31 NM General Education requirement, please complete the following courses.

The following courses meet New Mexico General Education requirements and their completion satisfies the UNM Gen Ed requirements:

  • One Communications course
  • One Creative and Fine Arts course
  • One Multi-Discipline/Flexible course
  • One Social and Behavioral Science course

In addition to earning your AAS degree, these are additional courses that directly fulfill UNM OILS requirements before transferring:

  • BUSA 1110 - Introduction to Business
  • COMM 2120 - Interpersonal Communication

The Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) program teaches how to evaluate the function of the nervous system, provide appropriate patient care, and maintain equipment. Earn an Associate of Applied Science or a post degree certificate and pursue work as an EEG Technologist.
