Radiologic Technology Transfer Options
Transfer Pathways
The ENMU BAAS program is a transfer pathway for all AAS students. Your AAS degree will transfer and apply in full to the ENMU BAAS program. Here are additional courses that you can complete pre-transfer. Completion of these courses makes your NM General Education complete.
Catalog 2025-2027
The following courses meet New Mexico General Education requirements and their completion satisfies the ENMU Gen Ed requirements:
- One Communications Requirement Course
- One Creative and Fine Arts Requirement Course
- Three Multi-Discipline/Flexible Requirement Courses*

Bachelor of Applied Science- General Business
Catalog 2025-2026
The NMHU BAS program is a transfer pathway for all AAS students. The BAS program will receive a total of 30 credit hours of CTE coursework and the 31 credit hours NM General Education Core. With your AAS, you will complete the 30-credit hour CTE requirements.
For students that would like to transfer with the 31 NM General Education requirement, please complete the following courses:
- One Social and Behavioral Science Requirement Course*
- One Communications Requirement Course
- One Creative and Fine Arts Requirement Course
- Three Multi-Discipline/Flexible Requirement Courses*(**)
In addition to earning your AAS degree, these are additional courses that directly fulfill NMHU BAS requirements before transferring:
- ECON 2110 - Macroeconomic Principles
or ECON 2120 - Microeconomic Principles - BLAW 2110 - Business Law I
- MGMT 2110 - Principles of Management
- MKTG 2110 - Principles of Marketing
*ECON 2110 and ECON 2120 are General Core Requirements for the BAS program at NMHU. If not previously completed as part of your AAS, please take the course to maximize your transfer credits. The course will also count toward one of the Multi-Discipline/Flexible Requirements or Social and Behavioral Science Requirement.

OILS Program
The UNM OILS program is a transfer pathway for all AAS students. The OILS program will receive a total of 30 credit hours of CTE coursework and the 31 credit hours NM General Education Core. With your AAS, you will complete the 30 credit hour CTE requirements. For students that would like to transfer with the 31 NM General Education requirement, please complete the following courses.
In addition to your associate degree, you can complete the following courses, which meet New Mexico General Education requirements. These General Education courses are also required for the OILS program:

Radiologic Science - Medical Imaging Concentration

A completed associate degree and certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) are required at the time of transfer. Once both requirements are met, coursework from the A.A.S. program becomes eligible for transfer and acceptance by UNM.

***If completing the prerequisite for BIOL 2210, students may use either CHEM 1120 or CHEM 1215 as a Multi-Discipline/Flexible option toward General Education completion. Students who have waived this prerequisite should meet with an advisor to review alternative options for fulfilling the Multi-Discipline/Flexible Requirement.
Learn About the Radiologic Technology Program at CNM
The Radiologic Technology program teaches radiographic exposure, anatomy, patient positioning, and the operation of specialized equipment. Earn an Associate of Applied Science and pursue work as a Radiologic Technologist.
