Theatre Transfer Options

Complete your Associate of Arts in Theatre at CNM and transfer to ENMU or UNM to earn your bachelor's degree.

University Requirements for Transfer

The following course clusters outline the unique requirements for each transfer major. All of the listed courses can be completed as part of your associate degree. By completing your associate degree, you will also fulfill the New Mexico General Education requirements.

  • THEA 2210 - Acting for the Camera
  • THEA 2255 - Beginning Screenwriting**
  • THEA 2310 - Stagecraft 
  • THEA 2420 - Voice and Movement 

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree must also complete the language courses listed below:

  • SPAN 1110 - Spanish I*
    or SPAN 1120 - Spanish II*
    or SPAN 2110 - Spanish III*
    or SPAN 2120 - Spanish IV*

In addition to your associates you may also complete the following bachelor’s course requirements at CNM:

  • FDMA 1515 - Introduction to Digital Image Editing-Photoshop
    or ARTS 1240 - Design I
    or ARTS 1610 - Drawing I
  • FILM 1002 - Shooting for Digital Media Applications
