Programs of Study for International Students

Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) provides education toward the completion of an associate degree or certificate. Upon graduation, you have the option to continue your education to complete a four-year bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university.

International Students are individuals studying in degree or exchange programs with legal F1-Visa or M1-Visa student immigration status. If you have a current visa but would like an F1-Visa or M1-Visa, you can learn how to change your status.

F1-Visa Programs

The F-1 Visa allows you to enter the United States as a full-time student at an accredited academic institution, such as CNM. With an F1-Visa, you can enroll in a program or course of study that culminates in a degree, diploma, or certificate.

M1-Visa Programs

If you have an M-1 visa, you can enroll in vocational or other nonacademic programs (except language training programs). 

Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) has a strong partnership with CNM Ingenuity (CNMI), a non-profit organization that focuses on skills training to power our community's strong workforce. CNMI has a flagship program called Deep Dive, which teaches the fundamentals of technology-focused topics in short-term, immersive settings. 

International students with an M1-Visa can enroll in one of the following Deep Dive programs from CNMI and CNM.
