Between May 19 and 27, 2018, students spent eight days learning about and exploring highland Guatemala. The group was based in the beautiful colonial city of Antigua. Two CNM faculty members, Dr. Jessica Craig and Dr. Brandon Morgan, act as guides and instructors.

Activities include a visit to an ancient Maya site, an overnight excursion to Lake Atitlán, a field trip to a weaver's co-op, and a cooking class in which students learn about and make local cuisine.

CNM students will be eligible to receive course credits for the trip!

This Study Abroad experience is made possible in partnership with UNM's Latin American and Iberian Institute.
