Article 18: Labor-Management Committee

Collective Bargaining Agreement for Instructional Support

The previously established Labor-Management Committee (LMC) shall continue. The LMCs purpose shall be the discussion of employee concerns and issues that relate to employee professional needs and matters which relate to employee terms and conditions of employment. The LMC shall be composed of three (3) representatives appointed by the College President and three (3) representatives appointed by the Union President. By mutual agreement the LMC may establish rules and procedures provided they do not conflict with any provision of this Agreement, and establish sub-committees to study issues which will be reported back to the LMC. Issues shall not be brought to the LMC by the union unless they have been addressed through the employee's immediate supervisor and the next level manager except by mutual agreement between the College and the Union. The LMC shall not be used for negotiations.
